WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ--(Marketwired - Apr 29, 2016) - Coates International, Ltd. (OTC PINK: COTE) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Cummins industrial electric power natural gas generator set retrofit project is now completed. The gen set was fired up this week and operated for a short period. As this power unit is computer controlled, Cummins computer technician is to reprogram the computer to manage and control the new retrofit CSRV green engine technology that is completely different to the original Cummins 100 plus year old poppet valve system. The Coates CSRV green engine technology replaces thousands of parts and components with only two rotating assembly CSRV shafts and requires no engine oil service to the CSRV green engine technology system.
Company President and CEO, Mr. George J. Coates, comments: "This retrofit project had many modifications such as the manual fan position, water-cooled manifolds, etc. However, it is completed now and operational. After Cummins computer technician reprograms the computer management system, the gen set will be run continuously under load for the run-in period. We already received requests to purchase this retrofitted Cummins generator set."
There can be no assurance that the Company will be successful in any of its endeavors.
