Great Thunder Retains Theberge to Design Nemaska Lake Lithium Exploration Program

Victoria, B.C. (FSCwire) - Great Thunder Gold Corp. (TSXV: GTG) is pleased to announce that it has retained Mr. Donald Théberge, P.Eng., MBA of Solumines to design an exploration program for Great Thunder’s Nemaska Lake lithium property.

The Nemaska Lake property is made up of four map designated cells covering 213 hectares.  Geological mapping by Nemaska Lithium geologists on behalf of Tucana Lithium in 2011 revealed the presence of many pegmatite outcrops, with only five of them sampled. This pegmatite discovery was reported in the NI 43-101 Abigail Property report written for Tucana Lithium by Mr. Théberge. The property is easily accessible, being located only 2.5 kilometres north of Route du Nord, the main road which joins the village of Nemaska to Chibougamau. The property also borders Nemaska Lithium’s Whabouchi Property and Durango Resources’ NMX East Property.

Kevin Whelan, President of Great Thunder, commented, “To better understand the potential for discovery, we are thrilled to commence exploration at our Nemaska Lake property with the experienced leadership of Donald Theberge. His extensive knowledge of the geology in this area, history and experience with Nemaska Lithium gives Great Thunder a strategic exploration edge in our quest for discovery on the identified pegmatite outcrops.”

The technical contents of this release were approved by Donald Théberge, P.Eng., MBA, an independent Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD
