Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange
TORONTO, July 8, 2016 /CNW/ - TMX Group today
announced its financing activity on Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange for June
2016.
Toronto Stock Exchange welcomed nine new issuers in June 2016, compared with 6 in the
previous month and 6 in June 2015. The new listings included six exchange traded funds, one SPAC, one
real estate company and one diversified industries company. Total financings raised in June 2016
increased 149% from the previous month, and were down 4% compared to June 2015. The total number of
financings in June 2016 was 64, compared with 73 in the previous month and 47 in June 2015.

TSX Venture Exchange welcomed one new issuer in June 2016, compared with four in the
previous month and two in June 2015. The new listing was a technology company. Total financings
raised in June 2016 were essentially flat compared to the previous month, and were up 35% compared to
June 2015. There were 174 financings in June 2016, compared with 176 in
the previous month and 109 in June 2015.
