National Bank Investments Inc. announces changes to certain National Bank Mutual Funds

T.NA

Canada NewsWire

MONTREAL, July 28, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - National Bank Investments Inc. ("NBI") announced today the change of portfolio managers for the National Bank Canadian Equity Fund and the NBI Canadian Equity Private Portfolio.

As of or around August 31, 2016, Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited will replace Fiera Capital Corporation as portfolio manager to the National Bank Canadian Equity Fund. As of the same date, National Bank Trust Inc. ("NBT") will replace Fiera Capital Corporation as portfolio manager to the NBI Canadian Equity Private Portfolio and NBT will retain CI Investments Inc. as sub-advisor to this fund. The investment objective of each fund remains unchanged.

These changes are in line with NBI's 100% open architecture, under which the portfolio management of the funds built for its product shelf is done exclusively by other firms, and with the manager supervision process it entails.

Furthermore, NBI also announced the name change for three National Bank Mutual Funds as of August 31, 2016. The name of the Funds will be changed as follows:

Current name

New name

Jarislowsky Fraser Select Canadian Equity Fund

NBI Jarislowsky Fraser Select Canadian Equity Fund

Jarislowsky Fraser Select Balanced Fund

NBI Jarislowsky Fraser Select Balanced Fund

Jarislowsky Fraser Select Income Fund

NBI Jarislowsky Fraser Select Income Fund

These changes will be reflected in the upcoming amendment to the simplified prospectus for the National Bank Mutual Funds, which will be available at www.sedar.com and www.nbc.ca.
