KTOS

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today the release of Monics® Net 10.5, the flagship product in Kratos’ Monics family of satellite carrier monitoring and interference mitigation solutions. This latest version adds a broad range of user friendly capabilities including a new intuitive, user interface for greater ease of use and enhanced site status for greater situational awareness.

The Monics product family has long been recognized as the industry’s leading carrier monitoring solution providing centralized Radio frequency (RF) spectrum monitoring and advanced interference detection including carrier-under-carrier detection and characterization. A highly scalable system, Monics is deployed in hundreds of locations around the world.

New in version 10.5 is an updated Dwell application, which allows the operator to manually monitor specific signals. New Dwell features include on-the-fly instrument selection, waterfall display and improved panel workflow-all designed to significantly improve ease of use and operator efficiency.

In addition, a new site status module gives operators enhanced visibility by consolidating alarms, improving device status views and centralizing logging for critical system functions including frequency monitoring plan status and control, system event logs and Earth Station Gain (ESG) calibration logs.
