At least five companies from the defense
segment reported their earnings for the September quarter, while two are slated to announce on Thursday. Significantly, all
reported EPS figures topped estimates. Three companies have also boosted their forecast for the full year.
5 Defense Names' Quarterly Results
The following companies have already reported their results:

General Dynamics Corporation (NYSE: GD)
reported EPS of $2.48 on revenue of $7.7 billion.

Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT)
reported EPS from continuing operations of $3.61 on sales revenue of $11.6 billion. The forecast for full year has been
increased from EPS of $11.15–$11.45 to $12.10 and sales from $45 billion–$46.2 billion to $46.5 billion.

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC)
reported EPS of $3.12 on revenue of $6.16 billion. The company boosted EPS outlook from $10.75–$11.00 to $11.55–$11.75 and
revenue from $23.5–$24.0 billion to $23.9–$24.1 billion.

Rockwell Collins, Inc. (NYSE: COL)
reported EPS of $1.58 on revenue of $1.445 billion.

United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX) reported adjusted EPS of $1.76 on sales of $14.4 billion. Adjusted EPS
forecast lifted from $6.45–$6.60 to $6.55–$6.60 for the full year. Sales are predicted at $57 billion–$58 billion.
