has selected the technologically advanced Pratt & Whitney PurePower Geared Turbofan™ (GTF) engine to power its order of 18
firm Airbus A320neo family aircraft. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The PurePower engine family's in-service performance has confirmed that the engine reduces fuel burn by 16 percent, lowers
regulated emissions by 50 percent and reduces the noise footprint by 75 percent. The GTF engine currently powers 24 aircraft with
eight airlines around the world.
