Blue Bird Announces Allison Extended Warranty at NAPT Summit
Allison Transmission warranty extended to 7 years for all new Blue Bird bus orders
At the NAPT Summit, Blue Bird announced that Allison 2000 Pupil Transport Series™ (PTS) transmissions will feature an extended
warranty of 7 years, unlimited miles - a substantial upgrade from the previous base warranty of 5 years, unlimited miles.

offered on their line of 2000 PTS series transmissions,” said Phil Horlock, President and CEO of Blue Bird Corporation. “This

partners.”
Along with this announcement, Blue Bird showcased many products and partnerships at their booth, including the NAPT debut of the
all-new Vision CNG bus, a Vision diesel bus equipped with a Cummins V5.0 engine, a Micro Bird G5 propane-powered bus, and a Micro Bird T-Series bus. Other displays in the booth included the new Eaton Procision transmission offering,
Cummins V5.0 engine, Hendrickson suspensions, Ford/ROUSH CleanTech powertrains, Bendix Electronic Stability Control and Blue Bird parts and service.
The new extended warranty on Allison transmissions will be 7 years, unlimited miles and will be standard on the 2000 PTS series
