Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Macy's Inc (NYSE: M) to report quarterly earnings at $0.41 per share on revenue of $5.65 billion before the opening bell. Macy's shares fell 0.13 percent to $38.33 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect Ralph Lauren Corp (NYSE: RL) to report quarterly earnings at $1.71 per share on revenue of $1.82 billion before the opening bell. Ralph Lauren shares rose 0.34 percent to $102.50 in after-hours trading.
  • Mylan NV (NASDAQ: MYL) reported weaker-than-expected results for its third quarter on Wednesday. Mylan shares declined 1.34 percent to $38.40 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE: KORS) to have earned $0.88 per share on revenue of $1.09 billion in the latest quarter. Michael Kors will release results after the markets close. Michael Kors shares rose 0.24 percent to $50.30 in after-hours trading.
  • Shake Shack Inc (NYSE: SHAK) reported stronger-than-expected results for its third quarter on Wednesday. Its same store sales rose 2.9 percent year-over-year. Shake Shack also raised and narrowed full-year 2016 revenue guidance. Shake Shack shares climbed 8.57 percent to $36.11 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Wall Street expects Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) to post quarterly earnings at $1.16 per share on revenue of $13.52 billion after the closing bell. Disney shares gained 0.02 percent to $94.66 in after-hours trading.

  • After the closing bell, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) is projected to post its quarterly earnings at $0.57 per share on revenue of $1.69 billion. NVIDIA shares rose 0.53 percent to $70.33 in after-hours trading.
  • TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) posted upbeat results for its third quarter. Taser also announced CFO Dan Behrendt will step down "to pursue other opportunities" and that the company is currently looking for a replacement. TASER shares surged 7.73 percent to $25.50 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) to post quarterly earnings at $0.51 per share on revenue of $3.48 billion after the closing bell. Nordstrom shares rose 0.46 percent to close at $52.29 on Wednesday.
  • Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) disclosed that its COO Adam Bain is stepping down. The company named Anthony Noto as its new COO. Twitter shares fell 2.51 percent to $18.65 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Before the markets open, Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $0.70 per share on revenue of $4.33 billion. Kohl's shares gained 0.11 percent to $45.75 in after-hours trading.
  • Novavax, Inc. (NASDAQ: NVAX) reported a narrower-than-expected loss for its third quarter, while revenue missed expectations. Management announced a corporate restructuring and cost savings plan. Novavax plans to reduce 30 percent of its workforce. The plans is expected to result in savings of $70 million to $100 million in 2017. Novavax shares dropped 14.12 percent to $1.46 in the after-hours trading session.
