Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.22 per share on revenue of $832.90 million before the opening bell. Abercrombie & Fitch shares fell 0.47 percent to $16.85 in after-hours trading.
  • Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) reported better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter. However, the company posted downbeat quarterly sales and issued a weak forecast for the current quarter. Williams-Sonoma shares dropped 2.93 percent to $52.05 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) reported upbeat earnings for its fourth quarter, but sales missed analysts’ expectations. Applied Materials shares fell 2.05 percent to $30.10 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL) to report quarterly earnings at $1.10 per share on revenue of $1.89 billion before the opening bell. Foot Locker shares rose 1.26 percent to $72.25 in after-hours trading.
  • Ross Stores Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) reported stronger-than-expected results for its third quarter and lifted its annual forecast. Ross Stores shares gained 3.39 percent to $67.75 in the after-hours trading session.

  • Before the markets open, Hibbett Sports, Inc. (NASDAQ: HIBB) is projected to report its quarterly earnings at $0.74 per share on revenue of $236.94 million. Hibbett Sports shares gained 1.68 percent to close at $45.30 on Thursday.
  • salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE: CRM) reported upbeat results for its third quarter and issued a strong revenue forecast for the current quarter. salesforce.com shares climbed 5.51 percent to $79.33 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Buckle Inc (NYSE: BKE) to have earned $0.51 per share on revenue of $243.41 million in the latest quarter. Buckle will release earnings before the markets open. Buckle shares fell 1.26 percent to $23.45 in after-hours trading.
  • Gap Inc (NYSE: GPS) posted in-line profit for its third quarter. However, the company reported a decline in quarterly sales. Gap shares dropped 4.07 percent to $29.46 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) reported better-than-expected results for its first quarter on Thursday. Intuit shares rose 2.65 percent to close at $113.80 on Thursday.
