Tremor Video Names Katie Evans Chief Operating Officer

Evans Joins an Industry-Leading Group of Executive Women

Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), a provider of software for video ad effectiveness, today announced that Katie Evans has been named Chief Operating Officer. In her new role, Evans will be responsible for the operations of the company, and the alignment of its global strategy, roadmap, and processes to fully realize the company’s growth potential.

Formerly the SVP of Operations & Strategy, Evans’ seven-year tenure with Tremor Video includes the oversight of advertising operations, client services, product marketing, yield, programmatic and creative teams. Evans has built and led teams that have helped transform the company’s seller- and buyer-platform businesses, supporting premium clients including Unity Technology, BBC, and Dish Network, and working with a wide array of “blue-chip” advertising partners.

“Katie’s leadership has contributed directly to the diversification of our business, most notably the successful roll out of our leading global SSP,” said Paul Caine, Interim CEO, Tremor Video. “Katie is a trailblazer, consistently supporting innovation in every aspect of our business, and has played a large role in our current success. I’m excited to work with her and the rest of our incredibly strong leadership team as we continue our company’s growth”

This new appointment is emblematic of Tremor Video’s growing female executive base and its commitment to empowering women within the advertising and technology industries. Women make up 42 percent of the company’s total employees and 35 percent at the executive level, representing a sharp contrast to the industry norm. According to the Women of Silicon Valley Roundabout, the entire tech industry is only about 16 percent women.

Furthering Tremor Video’s commitment to the broader industry and all colleagues, Tremor Video recently unveiled its #ThisWayUp campaign, a unifier for industry growth. In an effort to educate and elevate the knowledge on advertising technology across the industry, Tremor Video will host an ongoing Summit Series on challenges including Advanced TV, AR/VR and more to bring these initiatives to the forefront and explore win-win solutions towards growth.

“We are committed to the success and growth of our industry, and Tremor Video is a big believer that diversification and innovation are keys to getting there,” said Jennifer Catto, chief marketing officer, Tremor Video. “#ThisWayUp aims to move beyond jargon and inspire us to work together to advance as a whole. We are essentially expanding our 10-year company culture beyond the doors of our offices around the world.”
