George W. Chilian, President, Passes Away
Simcoe, Ontario (FSCwire) - Metalore Resources Limited (MET/TSXV) (“Metalore” or the
Company) advises that its long time president, George W. Chilian has passed away. George had been president and CEO of
Metalore Resources since 1955, an impressive 62 years. He worked hard to keep the Company’s outstanding shares to
less than 2 million and under his leadership, Metalore paid a dividend to shareholders from 2000 to 2014. He was a
prospector at heart, diligently studied maps and paid close attention to details. By the mid-1980’s under Mr.
Chilian’s direction, Metalore made four NI 43-101 compliant gold resource discoveries in the Beardmore area and a fifth in the
Sioux Narrows area of NW Ontario after 2002. He pioneered a new natural gas drilling and production operation in SW
Ontario in 1964 and personally developed the largest well fracturing treatments ever completed in the Province. He
wholesale marketed 90% of MET’s gas forward but felt it had been a more important achievement to be serving over 125 families
throughout rural Charlotteville Township directly with the comfort, convenience and economy of direct, reliable, safe,
environmentally clean gas service. His presence will be greatly missed.
