TEL AVIV, Israel, May 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM) and OTC Israel in cooperation with Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI) today announced they will hold an
educational seminar for Israeli startup companies about cost-effectively raising capital and accessing the U.S. public markets on
Tuesday, May 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Tel Aviv.
The event will feature presentations by representatives from OTC Markets Group, OTC Israel and IATI who will discuss the
benefits and requirements of trading on the OTCQX and OTCQB markets in the U.S. In addition, an expert panel will discuss
the legal and regulatory requirements, investor relations and other considerations around going public in the U.S. An
investor panel will include the perspectives of various investors in Israeli public companies.
Guest speaker Amit Dror, CEO of Israeli technology company Nano Dimension Ltd., will discuss
how the company successfully leveraged going public on the OTCQB and OTCQX markets in the U.S. to list on a national stock
exchange. Other speakers will include: Jason Paltrowitz, EVP of Corporate Services for OTC
Markets Group; Dov Weinberg, U.S. Director for OTC Israel; and Karin Mayer
Rubinstein, CEO of IATI.
Operated by OTC Markets Group, the OTCQX and OTCQB are established U.S. public markets that provide a cost-effective
alternative to a U.S. stock exchange listing for qualified U.S. and foreign companies, including Israeli companies. There
are currently 1,270 OTCQX and OTCQB companies, ranging from large, global issuers such as Adidas, Heineken and Roche to
established U.S. community banks and smaller and growing U.S. and international companies. OTCQX and OTCQB securities trade
in excess of $6.1 billion monthly.
There are currently 70 Israeli companies traded on the OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink markets, including Collplant Holdings Ltd.,
Delta-Galil Industries Ltd., Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. and Jacada Ltd.
"The U.S. capital markets provide a tremendous opportunity for Israeli growth companies, but listing on a major U.S. stock
exchange is simply too costly and burdensome for most early-stage businesses," said Mr. Paltrowitz. "OTCQX and OTCQB
provide a proven path for Israeli startups to gain the benefits of a U.S. public market while allowing them to focus time, effort
and capital on building their business. While the U.S. exchanges might be ideal for billion-dollar companies, OTCQX and
OTCQB allow smaller issuers to grow in a logical, affordable way while limiting their risk."
"Going public on the OTCQX and OTCQB markets in the U.S. provides Israeli companies with wide exposure to the American and
global capital markets, as well as the ability to upgrade to a U.S. stock exchange listing in the future," said Joseph Alon, CEO of OTC Israel.
The event is designed for CEOs, CFOs, Chairmen and other senior executives of Israeli startup companies with a global strategy
and interest in the U.S. capital markets.
Registration is free, but space is limited so early registration is recommended. Lunch will be provided. To RSVP,
