STAMFORD, Conn., May 08, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hexcel Corporation (NYSE:HXL) announced today that Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer Wayne Pensky intends to retire on December 31 after more than 24 years with the company.
Hexcel Chairman, CEO and President Nick Stanage said, “Wayne has made innumerable contributions at Hexcel. He has been an
outstanding CFO who has significantly influenced our business strategy, our financial performance and our pursuit of operational
excellence. While he will be greatly missed, I respect his decision and look forward to his continued counsel as an advisor to our
team through the end of the year.”
The Company’s Board of Directors appointed Patrick Winterlich to succeed Mr. Pensky as Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer, effective September 1 when Mr. Pensky will transition into the role of Special Advisor to the Chief Executive
Officer.
Mr. Winterlich, who is currently Senior Vice President – Tax, Systems & Enterprise Reporting, joined Hexcel in 1998 and has held
roles of increasing responsibility in Operations, Finance and Information Technology. Prior to Hexcel, he held various finance
roles at Courtaulds. He has a degree in accounting and financial analysis from Warwick University and is a member of the
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
