COMMENCEMENT OF LETTER OF INTENT WITH MATOVICH MINING INDUSTRIES LTD

September 26, 2017     - Zena Mining Corp. (the “Company”) wishes to announce that it has received final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange in regard of the letter of intent (the “Letter of Intent”) between Rock Creek Minerals Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company (collectively, with the Company, “RCM”), and Matovich Mining Industries Ltd. (“MMIL”) dated June 12, 2017. Further to such final approval, the Company has notified MMIL that all regulatory requirements pertaining to shareholder and TSX Venture Exchange approvals have been satisfied and that MMIL may commence its exploration and sampling programs. While the Company will be assisting MMIL in such programs by either assisting with the liason with surface rights owners and/or incurring expenditures on the property itself, the Company will work towards further satisfying the continued listing requirements of the TSX Venture Exchange by reviewing potential natural resource exploration projects for acquisition within the next 2 months.
