CipherLoc Announces Secure Email Read-Only Client Version

SDCH

Solution Enables End-to-end Email Security

AUSTIN, TX / ACCESSWIRE / October 3, 2017 / CipherLoc Corporation (OTCQB: CLOK), a leading provider of highly secure data protection technology, today announced the availability of a client-side extension to its recently released secure email solution. This extension will enable recipients of emails that have been protected with CipherLoc's innovative data protection technology to decrypt messages in order to be read. Designed for use with Microsoft Outlook clients, this "decrypt-only" software can be easily and quickly installed on any client wishing to communicate with users of CipherLoc's highly secure email protection product. Analogous to the Adobe .PDF Reader which would allow a client to read but not create .PDF files, CipherLoc's client version software will similarly allow messages to be decrypted but not encrypted. For those clients wishing to obtain full encrypt and decrypt capabilities, CipherLoc will offer an easy migration path to the full-featured email protection product ("Privacy").

CipherLoc's innovative technology takes any existing encryption algorithm (e.g. AES) and makes them dramatically faster, stronger, and massively scalable. However, to take advantage of CipherLoc's unique technology, it is necessary that both parties wishing to communicate securely with each other have CipherLoc's technology embedded within their respective platforms. Rather than create a separate application to achieve this, today's announcement enables CipherLoc's technology to be directly added as a plug-in to Microsoft Outlook for end users wishing to decipher information being sent to them via email.

"With only a very small percentage of the roughly 74 trillion emails being sent every year being fully encrypted, we feel that today's announcement will help further accelerate the transition to a more secure environment," said Mike Salas, Vice President of Marketing and Sales of CipherLoc. "Emails are a very easy target for hackers so we look forward to working with companies of all sizes to seamlessly lock down one of their most vulnerable applications in use today."

This new Microsoft Outlook client-side plug-in is now available in prototype form with full production scheduled for later in 2017.
