New team members will work with Institutional Clients across Canada

Investments (Canada) Inc., a Sun Life Investment Management Company announced today the
appointment of two new members to its distribution team, as well as one promotion.

Post to the role of Director of Institutional Sales. Sean, Stian and Andrew each bring a deep understanding of
investment management and the client service experience, complementing our existing team."
Established in 2014, Sun Life Investment Management introduced private asset class strategies to the Canadian institutional
market through Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) Inc. The strategies quickly
caught on with some of Canada's largest institutional investors who have allocated private debt
to their defined benefit plan portfolios. Over the past three years, Sun Life Investment Management's product suite has
grown, offering investors innovative strategies to meet their specific needs.
The expansion of the Canadian distribution team demonstrates Sun Life Investment Management's continued commitment to helping

Additional details of the new appointments:
Sean Sirois, Head of Business Development, Quebec and
Eastern Canada
In this role, Mr. Sirois is responsible for marketing investment solutions to consultants, defined benefit pension
plan sponsors, and other institutional investors. Based in Sun Life Investment Management's Montreal office, Mr. Sirois' focus will be on the Quebec and Eastern Canada institutional markets.
Mr. Sirois joins Sun Life Investment Management with over 33 years of experience in capital markets, banking and
investments. Most recently, he was Vice-President of Business Development at IPSOL Capital. Prior to IPSOL, Mr.
Sirois was Managing Director and Canadian Head of Business Development for Global Markets at Deutsche Bank Securities Ltd.
Mr. Sirois also brings governance experience to this role, having served as a Director of Deutsche Bank Securities Ltd. from
2005 – 2011, among other private corporations. He is currently the Chair of Ottawa University's
Telfer School of Management Dean's Advisory Board for Quebec and on the board of advisors of the
Telfer Capital Fund.
Mr. Sirois holds a B.Com (Honours) from Ottawa University, and a Certificate – Affaires
Internationales from the Ecole superieure de commerce de Paris. He is a CFA charterholder and received his ICD.D
designation from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Andrew Post, Director, Institutional Sales, Central Canada
In this role, Mr. Post is responsible for marketing investment solutions to consultants, small to mid sized defined
benefit pension plan sponsors and other institutional investors. Based in Sun Life Investment Management's Toronto office, Mr. Post's focus will be on the Central Canada
institutional markets.
Mr. Post joined Sun Life Investment Management in 2015 as an Institutional Sales Associate, where he supported activities
through the entire sales cycle from target market analysis to building relationships and strengthening our client network.
Prior to this, Mr. Post held various roles with Sun Life Global Investments.
Mr. Post holds a B.Comm (Finance) from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University
and is a CFA charterholder.
Stian G. Andersen, Head of Business Development, Western
Canada
In this role, Mr. Andersen is responsible for marketing investment solutions to consultants, defined benefit pension
plan sponsors and other institutional investors. Based in Calgary, Mr. Andersen's focus
will be on the Western Canada institutional markets.
Prior to assuming this position, Mr. Andersen was Director, Institutional Business Development and Client Relationships for
Sun Life Global Investments. He has over ten years experience in the institutional investments industry, also holding
positions at Manulife Asset Management and Standard Life Investments in Western Canada.
Mr. Andersen holds an MA (Hons) in International Business from the University of Edinburgh in the
UK. He is also a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM).
Mr. Sirois, Mr. Post and Mr. Andersen will each report directly to Mr. Bang.
