NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) is pleased to announce the
appointment of Neil Johnson as Head of US Institutional Business Development. In his role, Neil will lead BNPP AM’s US
business development strategy with asset owners in all market segments and assist the firm with its US product
strategy. Neil will report to Daniel Klein, CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management, North America, and will
be based in New York.
Klein said: “Neil brings a wealth of experience to this position having worked for both asset managers and investment
consulting firms. He has significant experience building relationships with institutional investors and developing solutions to
meet their organization's investment needs. He also has a background in sustainable and responsible research and investing,
an important component of BNPP AM’s corporate culture and investment processes.”
With 30 years of industry experience, Neil joins BNPP AM from RobecoSAM where he worked for nearly seven
years and served as Executive Director, Head of Sales US as well as Head of Global Clients and Marketing. He was also a member of
the Executive Committee. Prior to joining RobecoSAM he worked for Credit Suisse Asset Management, AIG Global Investment
Group and Neuberger Berman where he was responsible for sales and service of a wide range of investment strategies to all US market
segments and consultants. He has experience with traditional fixed income and equity as well as alternative strategies. He
began his investment career as a consultant for SEI and Hamilton & Company. Neil is a CFA Charter holder.
