FORT COLLINS, Colo., Dec. 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Woodward, Inc. (NASDAQ:WWD) today announced that Matthew F. Taylor was
appointed as President of the company’s Airframe Systems business group, effective February 2, 2018. Mr. Taylor will succeed Marty
Glass, who recently announced his plan to retire from the Company.
Matt joined Woodward in 2005, and has been serving as Corporate Vice President, Global Supply Chain, since 2011. Matt has
extensive experience in P&L management, business development, operations, sales, finance and strategic planning. In addition to
his supply chain leadership role, Matt supported the three major acquisitions that established Woodward’s Airframe Systems business
group, and served as the Vice President & General Manager, as well as the integration lead, of the company’s Thrust Reverser
Actuation Systems business in Duarte, CA during the first eighteen months of operation following its acquisition. Other prior roles
at Woodward include Director of Operations then General Manager of the Industrial Fluid Systems & Controls business.
