AstroNova Announces Appointment of Yvonne Schlaeppi to Board of Directors
Graeme MacLetchie and Everett V. Pizzuti to Retire
AstroNova, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOT), a global leader in data visualization technologies, today announced that it has appointed Yvonne
E. Schlaeppi to the AstroNova Board of Directors as a new independent director, effective immediately. The appointment follows the
decisions by directors Graeme MacLetchie and Everett V. Pizzuti to retire from the AstroNova Board, effective immediately. Ms.
Schlaeppi will stand for election at the Company’s 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Ms. Schlaeppi, 58, has significant global business experience and has served as general counsel at leading international
corporations, including in the printing solutions and manufacturing industries. Ms. Schlaeppi is a seasoned executive with a focus
on business development, M&A, strategic planning, compliance, corporate governance and board processes. She is an independent
director of publicly listed Stallergenes Greer plc, and serves on its Audit and Nominating and Compensation Committees. She is also
a Managing Partner at Stratevise, an international strategic advisory firm.

Ms. Schlaeppi has been named to the Board’s Nominating and Audit Committees. Adding Ms. Schlaeppi’s corporate governance
expertise on the Nominating Committee will continue the ongoing enhancement of the Board’s governance. Furthermore, as a
growing global enterprise, AstroNova will benefit notably from Ms. Schlaeppi’s Audit Committee and international business
background.

Ms. Schlaeppi is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Stratevise, an international strategic advisory firm with clients that range
from start-ups to large global companies. Prior to Stratevise, Ms. Schlaeppi served as General Counsel at Global Enterprise
Technologies, Passport & ID, a high-security document printing solutions provider and systems integrator. She also held the
roles of Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate IP Officer at Organon BioSciences, a global pharmaceutical, animal
health and biotech group. Ms. Schlaeppi was partner and chair of the international practice at Palmer & Dodge and prior to
that, General Counsel Europe at Johnson Controls. She began her career as an international corporate attorney at Baker &
McKenzie New York and Zurich. Currently, Ms. Schlaeppi serves as a director and member of the Audit and Nominating and Compensation
Committees at Stallergenes Greer plc. Ms. Schlaeppi was recognized as a Board Leadership Fellow by the National Association of
Corporate Directors (NACD) in 2017. Ms. Schlaeppi received her J.D. from Columbia University and B.A. from Princeton
University, the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs.
