TORONTO, May 1, 2018 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI")
today reported preliminary assets under management at April 30, 2018 of $138.8 billion and total assets of $181.5 billion.
Assets under management grew by $15.6 billion or 12.7% year over year, and decreased 0.3% in the
month of April. Total assets gained $17.8 billion or 10.9% for the 12-month period, and decreased
by 0.2% in the month of April.
CI's average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $138.5 billion, a decrease of
2.4% from the first quarter of 2018. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $141.0
billion, a gain of $14.7 billion or 11.6% from the average for fiscal 2017.
CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate
Private Counsel of $42.7 billion at April 30, 2018, representing an
increase of $2.2 billion or 5.4% year over year.
