US Nuclear Corp.’s CEO Discusses Their Unique Radiation Detection Sensors and Breakthroughs in Medical Isotopes with Uptick Newswire’s Stock Day Podcast

UCLE

PHOENIX, Nov. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- US Nuclear Corp. (OTC: UCLE) (The “Company”) is a radiation and chemical detection holding company specializing in the development and manufacturing and sales of radiation and chemical detection instrumentation. Chairman of The Board of Directors for US Nuclear Corp., and Chief Executive Officer, Bob Goldstein, was welcomed back to Stock Day by host Everett Jolly.

Jolly started off by mentioning the company’s radiation detection sensor that is put onto drones. US Nuclear specializes in manufacturing the sensor. Jolly wanted to know how annual revenues were shaping up and what we could look forward to in the first and second quarters of 2019.

“In that last two years our revenue is up 80%, we are very pleased with that,” said Goldstein. “We expect it to continue to grow in this coming year, we are on our way up.”

Jolly then turned the conversation to the company’s early detection of anthrax. Jolly noted that in today’s climate, an anthrax scare wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. He said that US Nuclear Corp. could be a first responder to such a threat.

“That is correct, our drones have radiation and chemical sensors, we can also collect samples for a biological hazard, so we are in a good position,” explained Goldstein. “In fact, in the recent Urban Shield disaster exercises, we were there working with the first responders, police and fire, from all over the U.S. and other countries.”

He explained that during the exercise his company was able to fly over the site of a mock car bombing and make a map of the site where the radiation was before the first responders went in, reducing exposure. He says in the case of a dirty bomb, they have sensors that will detect real time radioactive dust in the air.

Jolly then asked who uses their products and how they go about finding clients. Goldstein explained that US Nuclear Corp is one of the only companies putting radiation detectors and chemical sensors on drones.

“We go to a lot of trade shows and were recently featured in the Microcap Review magazine,” said Goldstein. “We’ve been written up in L.A. Business Journal and other publications.”

Jolly then said that the company is now associated with medical isotope market. He asked Goldstein to discuss their latest progress building new medical isotope generators to fill a $7 billion/year shortage of medical isotopes. Goldstein explained that medical scans, used as diagnostic tools by doctors, often rely on radioactive isotopes. Now, there is a shortage.

“They are made around the world in reactors in South Africa and in Belgium, nothing is made here in the U.S.A. unfortunately. There’s a big shortage and the hospitals are actually rationing or even denying use of these radioactive isotopes for scanning and even for radiation treatment. We are partnered with MIFTEC, which is building a first of a kind, big breakthrough. They have a neutron generator that works on nuclear fusion,” explained Goldstein. “They are going to be able to make these nuclear medicine isotopes in the near future.”

Goldstein went on to say that customers are migrating from other brands to US Nuclear Corp. because of their high quality and features.

“We can detect and measure tritium and other items that nobody else can see because we have more sensitive detectors.”
