One Stop Systems Wins Excellence in North County Economic Development Award

ESCONDIDO, Calif., Dec. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- One Stop Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSS), the leader in specialized high-performance computers, has received a 2018 North County Excellence in Economic Development Award in recognition of its accomplishments which are helping to build a more prosperous North County.

OSS received the award at San Diego North Economic Development Council’s 2018 North County Excellence in Economic Development Awards Luncheon in California State University, San Marcos. The annual event is attended by over 300 civic and business leaders from throughout North County.

In making the award, the panel of judges focused on several aspects of OSS, including the company’s record Q3 performance, with revenue for the quarter up 45% compared to a year ago, and its positive outlook for the remainder of 2018 and 2019. The judges also recognized OSS commitment to North County is helping retain and grow the number of advanced manufacturing jobs in the county.

North of State Route 56 in San Diego County has a higher concentration of manufacturing jobs than the rest of San Diego County and the nation, according to data compiled by the San Diego North Economic Development Council and Economic Modeling Specialist. According to the council, the award is a way of recognizing companies that are making investments to grow this critical part of North County’s economy.
