Amneal Announces Launch of Generic Invega®

BRIDGEWATER, NJ.

Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: AMRX), today announced that it has launched its generic version of Invega® (paliperidone) extended-release tablets, 1.5 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg, and 9 mg.

“We are pleased to have received approval on and launched a generic version of Invega, one of the 15 complex products we expect to launch over a 24-month period,” said Chintu Patel, Co-CEO of Amneal. “With a diverse pipeline of more than 170 products, we will continue to deliver additional complex product approvals that expands our portfolio and provides patient access to affordable generic medicines.”

According to IQVIA™, U.S market annual sales for the 12 months ended July 31, 2019, for paliperidone extended-release tablets were estimated to be approximately $373 million.
