(CNSX:CULT.CN) is pleased to announce collaboration with scientists from the Indian Institute of Technology to expedite launch of our impairment detection technology and is also pleased to announce appointment of Dr. Michael Hart to its advisory board.

Cultivar Holdings has partnered with Dr. Indranil Saha from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He is an expert in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and will assist Cultivar with analysis of the data from the study which is currently being conducted with over 3,000 participants to solidify its impairment detection technology and expedite efforts towards launching the technology for workplace and law enforcement. IIT is the most prestigious engineering university in India and its alumni network spans the entire globe with a huge presence in silicon valley, especially with CEOs of some of the largest global technology and fortune 500 companies being IIT graduates.

Dr. Indranil Saha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology. Before joining IIT, he was a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley and the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, , M.Tech. degree in Computer Science, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of California Los Angeles in 2013. From 2005 to 2008, he was a research scientist at Honeywell. His research interest lies in the application of artificial intelligence and formal methods to embedded and cyber-physical systems and robotics. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at the ACM SIGBED International Conference on Embedded Software (EMSOFT) in 2010. He received the ACM SIGBED Frank Anger Memorial Award in 2012 for his contribution in the intersection of embedded systems and software engineering. He has published 40 research papers and filed 3 US patents to date.

Our chief engineer, Nandan Mishra has been invited to join the National Mission of Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems, a think tank group affiliated with the Ministry of Science and Technology in India which will play a key role in shaping the advanced technology ecosystem in India (including Artificial Intelligence and its implementation).
