The Roku Channel Exclusively Brings Adult Swim Festival to Streamers on Sept. 23

Today Roku, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROKU) announced that The Roku Channel will be the exclusive AVOD partner for the Adult Swim Festival, a three-part special featuring performances from the live event that took place in Philadelphia in August 2022. The special will be available for audiences to stream for free with ads on The Roku Channel starting September 23, 2022.

Featuring electric performances by headliners Run The Jewels, Tierra Whack, and Dethklok, this year’s Adult Swim Festival was a weekend of curated shows and experiences in Philadelphia’s famed Fishtown neighborhood. Roku’s Adult Swim Festival special will also include backstage interviews with performers El-P and Killer Mike of Run The Jewels and Tierra Whack.

In addition to bringing audiences the three-part special, The Roku Channel will also offer over 120 select episodes from more than 16 fan-favorite Adult Swim series and shorts beginning September 23. Highlights include Vindicators 2, the digital spin-off to hit animated comedy Rick and Morty, the Rick and Morty-inspired anime shorts, and the Aqua Teen Hunger Force digital spin-off Aquadonk Side Pieces, alongside episodes of famed Adult Swim series Robot Chicken, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, Metalocalypse, and more.
