“We are so proud to support young men and women who are passionate about Life Out Here through our FFA Future Leaders Scholarship,” said Marti Skold-Jordan, manager of the Tractor Supply Foundation and National FFA Foundation Sponsors’ Board member. “Our inaugural class of scholars is an exceptional group of students and it has been an honor to get to know them. Through the generosity of our customers, we will support even more students in our second year, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish.”

The inaugural FFA Future Leaders Scholarship fundraising drive, held in 2022, raised more than $1 million and generated scholarships for 146 FFA students whose studies range from welding and electrical engineering to agricultural business, animal science and beyond. Students attending trade schools and two-year colleges to pursue a skilled trade or agriculture-related field are eligible to receive a $5,000 scholarship. Students pursuing agriculture-related four-year majors are eligible to receive a $10,000 scholarship. Past recipients include:

  • Isabella Arias, who attends Northwest Missouri State University and is studying agricultural education.
  • Avery Graham, who received a Technician in Construction Certificate and, thanks to his $5,000 scholarship, can continue in that field by pursuing a degree in electrical construction at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology. After graduation, he plans to work toward earning his Journeyman’s License.
  • Amiyah Labady, who is attending Valencia College in Orlando and studying to be a wildlife veterinarian.
  • Carlos Nunez Jacuinde, who is using his $10,000 scholarship to attend California State University – Chico to study agricultural engineering.

Tractor Supply is the largest funder of FFA and has supported the organization through various fundraising initiatives since 1985.
