Stingray (RAY.A), has signed a global deal with Harman and CARIAD to bring the Stingray Karaoke product to select Audi vehicles.

Reportedly, Stingray Karaoke will be available in July for all newly commercialized Audi A4, A5, Q5, A6, A7, A8, Q8 e-tron, and Audi e-tron GT. These vehicles will be fitted from the factory throughout the European, Canadian, and U.S. markets. The system will be expanded to even more Audi models later this year.

According to Stingray, the agreement is an important milestone as it expands its reach to some of the most popular car brands in the world. Stingray Karaoke is a popular default value-added service that is already available on all Tesla and VinFast cars.

Eric Boyko, President, Co-founder, and CEO of Stingray stated,

“We believe that music is a universal language that brings people together, and we are proud to be able to offer our service to a wider audience while expanding our brand exposure worldwide.”

Karaoke system to integrate into existing app

The Stingray Karaoke system comes with a 100,000-song catalogue browsable by title, artist, lyrics or genre in more than 25 languages. Under the new agreement, this system will be integrated into Harman’s new car’s infotainment app.

Using the infotainment system, Passenger App, consumers can queue up to 100 songs on their connected mobile device when a car is in motion. Additionally, they can tailor their experience by skipping, rewinding and fast-forwarding songs and toggling background videos on or off. New songs are added to the system monthly.

Stingray (RAY.A) is down 0.50 per cent, trading at $5.97 per share as of 12:20 p.m. EST.
