Reliq Health Technologies (TSXV:RHT) has signed contracts with 20 new rural health clinics (RHCs) in California, Nevada, Puerto Rico, Texas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The company expects the clinics to add more than 50,000 patients to its iUGO Care platform by the end of December 2024.

The first five RHCs will be onboarded next month, adding more than 10,000 patients to the iUGO platform by mid-2024 at an average revenue of $60 per patient per month.

Another 15 RHCs will be onboarded in 2024, accounting for the remaining 40,000 patients, which will be active on the platform by the end of the 2024 calendar year.

“Building on our success to date with RHCs in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, we are now expanding into RHCs on the U.S. mainland, as well as adding new RHCs on the islands,” Lisa Crossley, CEO at Reliq Health Technologies, said in a statement. “The RHC program is intended to increase access to primary care services for patients in underserved, rural communities. Clinics that are granted RHC status receive enhanced reimbursement rates for providing Medicare and Medicaid services to their patients. Reliq specializes in delivering virtual care solutions to remote and rural communities and is uniquely positioned to address the needs of RHCs and their patients.”

The news follows the addition of more than 10,000 patients in Mexico and a contract with a large U.S. health plan.

Reliq Health Technologies is a rapidly growing global healthcare technology company developing virtual care solutions for the multi-billion-dollar healthcare market.

Reliq stock (TSXV:RHT) opened unchanged trading at $0.50 per share.
