Amino, a new AI-powered calorie counter app, has posted a strong first month on the market marked by more than 13,000 users signed up to date across iOS and Android.

The app, offered by Boba Mint Holdings (CSE:TNJ) and subsidiary WERD Studios, allows users to photograph their meals and upload them into an AI program that provides full nutritional breakdowns, plus associated health scores with tailored recommendations. Users can also participate in challenges and earn rewards designed to expedite their fitness goals.

The app received its first in a string of planned celebrity endorsements on October 14 from brand ambassador Kyle Forgeard, creator of NELK and Full Send, who dedicated an Instagram story to the product, generating nearly 2,000 new users over a 24-hour period.

Amino’s rollout has focused on digital-only channels, organic community engagement and small-scale influencer activations, providing ample data, according to Friday’s news release, for Boba Mint to refine performance with eyes on scaling market share.

Upcoming initiatives, backed by an increased market spend, include numerous TikTok advertising campaigns and partnerships with other high-profile content creators, including additional NELK team members.
