If you’re looking to invest in cannabis stocks, there are a couple of different approaches you can take. It helps to look at many types of companies in different parts of the industry and see which looks the most promising for your portfolio.

The cannabis sector is prone to a lot of volatility, so you should evaluate what level of risk you’re willing to take. Investing directly in the supply chain through producers, for example, ties you more closely to the cannabis market than if you invested in a company that provides ancillary services to many industries.

Personally I think Cannara Biotech (LOVE.V) should be added to at least one of these lists. They're doing one thing the majority of cannabis companies are NOT doing... which is making a profit. They've been profitable for the last two quarters and Stockhouse had a report on them earlier in the year when they reported their first net profit.
