The markets traded in a narrow sideways range last week, but that didn't hamper strong gains in February. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE: SPY) finished the month with a gain of 5.62 percent and continues to show evidence the uptrend is still intact.

The week ahead features several key economic releases including monthly motor vehicle sales data, employment statistics, and the Fed beige book.
