President & CEO of
International Wastewater Systems (
IWS:CNSX), Lynn Mueller, is lining up this company to be the go to for recycled energy. It becomes very important to find ways to reuse energy as much as we possibly can. The challenge was that nobody wanted to get into the domain of the sewage system to do it. 30% of the energy used goes down the drain and eventually into the oceans and seas in the world. We’ve developed a system, we call a SHARC system and a secondary smaller system called a PIRAHANA. We found a way to tap into the sewage flow in cities and buildings around the world. We produce them, we own them, we maintain the equipment, we really take all of the obstacles away from putting in a sewage heat recovery system. The revenues for IWS last year were about 2 million dollars. This year we’ll be about 10 and we are predicting the year after that to be about 20. We have a wonderful stream of business in the UK. We have approximately 60 million pounds in business lined up there for the next five years. They have a wonderful incentive there called the renewable heat incentive that really allows us to install equipment at no cost to the building owner and collect a rebate for 20 years for its operation. And then Australia came calling and it turns out that we have our first five jobs lined up in Australia, the first one is a wool processing plant. We are in a position to really be the go to people for recycled energy.
