“CannTab has the proprietary technology to take the cannabis and put it into a solid delivery system. Other companies in the business right now are using oils and oils, is not the greatest way to take a drug into your body because they’re not soluble in water and what not. So, CannTab is a first mover in terms of having a bioavailable tablet of cannabis. Our key product is an extended-release tablet of 10 milligrams. The product is in development stage right now and we’re about to go to Health Canada to get a regulatory approval. CannTab has proprietary technology to extend the release of the cannabis over a one-day period. So, people don’t have to smoke cannabis or they don’t have to eat gummy bears, they can take a pill once per day for various indications. I’m a 30-year career investment banker, self-employed. Eleven years ago Jeff and I started a generic pharmaceutical company, in fact that generic pharmaceutical company was the engine of the extended-release platform that we are now using for our cannabis tablets. In our bilayer tablet we’re able to deliver immediate relief, with an instant release THC component.
