Dr. Matt Pearson

Vice President, Technology

Dr. Matt Pearson is the Vice President Technology of the Company. Prior to July 2006, he was employed full-time as the Director of Product Development at Enablence Inc. Dr. Pearson has extensive experience in the design, characterization, manufacturing, and marketing of highly-integrated photonic circuits. He has worked with development teams at Nortel Networks and the National Research Council of Canada, and was Senior Optoelectronics Engineer in the Photonic Technology Operations at Intel Corporation. Mr. Pearson has led the product management group of a start-up company in optical components. Mr. Pearson was born in Ottawa, Canada in June 1973. He holds a B.Sc. in Honors Physics & Mathematics from the Royal Military College of Canada, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
