On Monday, Tawsho Mining (TSX: V.TAW, Stock Forum) shares climbed 44% to 36 cents after the micro cap miner reported that it has completed 11 drill holes during its summer 2011 drill campaign on its Whisker Valley Gold Project in Newfoundland, which included an average grade of 47.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over an interval of 0.15 metres.

As well, shares of North American Nickel (TSX: V.NAN, Stock Forum) shot up 29% to 18 cents as the junior explorer said it has begun exploration on the Bell Lake quartz diorite offset dyke about 50 km from Sudbury, Ontario.

In Tuesday trading, Ocean Park Ventures (TSX: V.OCP, Stock Forum) shares jumped 20% to 84 cents after the micro cap explorer provided an update on drilling at the Trapper gold project in British Columbia. Over 2,600 meters of diamond drilling have been completed in 13 of 25 planned diamond drill holes. Twelve of thirteen drill holes have intersected 1 to 3 zones of sulfide mineralization associated with intense carbonate and/or silica alteration over widths of between 5.04 and 96.80 metres. Also, visible gold was identified in drill hole TG-11-011.

Also, shares of Probe Mines (TSX: V.PRB, Stock Forum) moved up 17% to $1.76 as the junior miner announced that it has received the initial mineral resource estimate for its Borden Lake gold deposit near Chapleau, Ontario. Highlights included an Indicated Resource of 11,607,000 tonnes averaging 0.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for 305,000 ounces of gold and an additional Inferred Resource of 169,322,000 tonnes averaging 0.69 g/t gold for 3,755,000 ounces of gold.

Wednesday’s market action saw shares of Lions Gate Metals (TSX: V.LGM, Stock Forum) surge as much as 35% to 65 cents after the micro cap miner reported that its 100% owned Poplar Project in British Columbia has an Inferred Resource of 245 million tonnes averaging 0.27% copper, containing over 1.4 billion pounds of copper at a 0.15% copper cut-off.

In addition, shares of Victory Nickel (TSX: T.NI, Stock Forum) gained 22% to 11 cents as the junior miner said it has been granted by the Manitoba government the Environment Act License for the construction, operation and subsequent decommissioning of the 100%-owned Minago Sulphide Nickel Project in Manitoba.

On Thursday, NQ Exploration (TSX: V.NQE, Stock Forum) shares powered 10% higher to 11.5 cents after the micro cap explorer reported early results of the new drilling program at its 100% owned Carheil project in Quebec, which included 93.1 grams per tonne (g/t) silver over 16 metres.

As well, shares of ENPAR Technologies (TSX: V.ENP, Stock Forum) rose 36% to 15 cents as the provider of treatment of waste water, desalination water and drinking water contaminated by metals or nutrients announced that it has been awarded funding in the amount of $341,644 by the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation to conduct final tests of its AmmEL System at the City of Guelph's Waste Water Treatment Plant.

And, in Friday trading, Donnybrook Energy (TSX: V.DEI, Stock Forum) shares climbed 18% to 46 cents after the oil and gas producer/explorer reported that the Donnybrook operated Bigstone DEI Hz 3-29 horizontal well spud today. Donnybrook is paying 25% of the DEI Hz 3-29 well costs (drill, complete, equip, and tie-in) and will retain a 25% working interest and a 10% GORR on a 75% working interest before payout, and a 50% working interest after payout in the DEI Hz 3-29 well and in the balance of the 7 section block at Bigstone, Alberta. The DEI Hz 3-29 well is located within eight kilometers of a recently announced 3,200 meter horizontal liquids rich natural gas Montney well that after clean-up reportedly flowed on test over the last day at an average rate of 13.1 MMCF of natural gas and 650 barrels of crude oil and NGLs per day (2,800 boe per day).

Finally, shares of Hathor Exploration (TSX: T.HAT, Stock Forum) added 45% at $3.88 as Cameco (TSX: T.CCO, Stock Forum) said it intends to make an offer to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Hathor for cash consideration of $3.75 per share in a transaction that values the fully-diluted share capital of Hathor at approximately $520 million.
