RE:Twin Butte Stock Price Whatever you do keep the shares. Banks are notorious for suggesting you give your shares away so that you can claim the loss. That is a lie. You can claim the loss and still keep your shares through an election with the CRA. Google it for more info.
the banks have taken many people's shares this way and if there is an eventual sale, you have no recourse. If someone wants to buy your shares they will notify you. They cannot sell the Corporation without advising you.
