Aberdeen and DLI

Do we know how many common shares of DLI in Aberdeen's portfolio. In the October 31 2017 statements there were over 3 million common shares listed under the private equity holdings, which will move over to the public portfolio in the April 30 2018 quarterly numbers. We will see the January 31, 2018 year end numbers for ABerdeen in early April, so that should give us a better picture.

In January 2017, they had 6 million shares listed, and I am trying to acsertain how the 6 million dropped to 3 million but still showing the same cost but increased FMV.

Anyone have any info on this to share?

Thanks DT, that is the number I have as well. Like all number crunchers, I am always keen for more data to analyze. @15Stanmore LIX deal is completed so there is give or take 265 millions dolars available to be reinjected into the market.  What I think most of this money will go into lithium play as it’s looking good as chinese want them!   So my next play is DLI because it’s very attracting company with already an offtake deal. Also AAB own DLI and will be receiving around 15 millions dollars cash ...more

15Stanmore, DLI had a 2:1 rollback prior to the most recent financings and IPO. That's the reason AAB kept the same cost base with half the shares. DLI has a new presentation on its website which will give you accurate insight into current shares outstanding.
