I've seen this movie before, and sadly it doesn't end wellI'm not a material investor in this play but have lost a few dollars. The fact that Vic is waiting until Monday to provide a substantial rebuttal is extremely worrying. The fact that he's already talking about his readiness to sell is even more so. We all know where there's smoke there's fire, and this is serious. Some might think that Shopify was targeted and there was nothing there, but that was a light attack based on the fact that they are a bit too 'pumpy' with their marketing. No one claimed fraud, nor that they didn't have a very real business making real money. This is an entirely different animal, and as bad as a Sino Forest I believe. Worse in fact because this is not China, it's Canada. The thing that upsets me the most is that it's bad business for all LPs, in which I am materially invested. Dismiss this as bashing, etc, but I've been investing for 15 years and have a few gray hairs. I've seen more of these than I care to remember, and even added my name to two class actions. Nothing comes of them, other than emails five years later with updates (remember Poseidon and their frack fluid tanks? I lost $30K on that going to zero). APH is done - their goose is cooked. Thier CAD assets won't matter when it their management team is crooked to the core. They'll be sold for scrap, pennies on the dollar, to an opportunistic LP. By the time WEED and ACB are reporting their Oct-Dec quarter mid Feb, APH will be memory. I do feel bad for the greener investors and completely understand that you think this isn't possible and will turn around. But sadly it can't be changed now, and it won't. Please invest in people and not companies in the future. The Nuuvera deal showed their true colors, and that's when I reduced my position to fun money. I hope they are prosecuted and that at least some money is one day returned to shareholders. You can bet dollars to dougnuts that Vic will let this bleed down to $2 and then finally sell (if not delisted first), all the while claiming innocence and that it just doesn't make financial sense to fight it out in court. Again, this isn't a short email, just a sad reflection on greed and corruption. GLTA
