Calgary-based
Zodiac Exploration (
TSX:V.ZEX,
Stock Forum) plunged 25% to 3 cents Thursday after the company announced its agenda for an upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders. The company said it will seek a
15-to-1 share consolidation, and to change the company name to
Mobius Resources.
Orbite Aluminae (TSX:ORT, StockForum) jumped 46.3% to 30 cents. The Montreal Quebec-based exploration and development stage firm engaged in the extraction of different ores utilizing environmentally friendly extraction processes, announced that the company had finalized negotiations with Outotec and executed the calcination system supply contract.
According to the news release, the company picked Outotec to provide and deliver the new calcination system for its HPA facility and has negotiated a contract that foresees incentives for enhanced performance and early delivery while including penalties for poor performance and late delivery.
