Legend Gold (TSX:V.LGN, Stock Forum) announced results today from its successful 5,845 metre reconnaissance aircore drilling campaign on the Mougnina project located within the Bala Ouest Exploration Permit Application area in Mali, West Africa.
According to the news release, the drilling returned results revealing anomalous gold over two areas of ancient artisanal workings, Site B and Site G.
The 163 hole campaign returned anomalous gold in 51 holes with values greater than 100 ppb. These results were concentrated in holes adjacent to the trend of the ancient artisanal workings.
Highlights from the results included 20.93 g/t gold over 2 metres at MGAC062, 6.665 g/t gold over 2 metres at MGAC147, 3.997 g/t gold over 1 metre at MGAC068 and 2.187 g/t gold over 2 metres at MGAC080.
Legend Gold was in the news recently when the company announced the appointment of a manager of investment relations three days ago.
Shares gained 3.57% on the news to $0.29 per share.
