Just Called Media Relations...They gave me David Horseley's cell phone number (416) 562-1284.  I obviously called and obviously got a voice mail.  Something really strange is happening here.  I would speculate the following:

1.  It is a complete scam
2.  It is not a scam at all and insiders, people-in-the-know, etc. are not saying anything in order to reach complete capitulation and profit wildly over the next few weeks.

Because the earnings release is coming out soon, there is a black-out period for insider share sales.  The trick is to watch the news overnight - Hong Kong is 12 hours ahead.  Anybody expecting news today from the company didn't get it right because they would be sleeping over there.  Expect little news during our business hours... pay attention to HK business hours.  If nothing happens tonight and early tomorrow morning then something really strange indeed is playing out.

One way this situation can be easily rectified in my mind is to request copies of the current insurance documents.  The commercial insurance policies will show what is insured and replacement cost values for these assets.  Sure, the numbers might be off but parcels of land, etc. will be consistent.  If they are not insuring these items... well then we know we have a problem.  This is one of the best forms of audit as I know, I do this for a living.
