Perimeter intrusion prevention system is a system that prevents people, technology, and operations from unauthorized access. The unauthorized access can damage, destroy or hinder the regular operations of an organization. The components of the perimeter security systems are security forces, barriers and gates, lighting, sensors, warning devices, lethal and non-lethal systems, personal identification systems, command, control and communication systems.
