"Doesnt ameritrade let you get into the canuck stocks?" I'm pretty sure that they do, but I never looked into it closely, because I have had no problem trading in the over the counter version of canadian stocks. I am fairly certain that if you trade in foreign listings that their is a substantial additional fee, and likewise probably also an additional fee at Etrade. ( I'm rather certain it has to be done with a real, live ameritrade broker instead of the small on line fee of $10.99).
