RE:RE:Love it that we got some huge exposure the last few weeksAgreed - Simon Moore was successful in explaining to the Committee the supply risk of battery critical materials and he mentioned that Alabama and Alaska had graphite. The Chairwomen closed the meeting recapping that without the US having the required materials they cannot have energy supply/energy storage security that the US requires - particularly in places like Puerto Rico when the main power grid is damaged. They all "Get It". The Chairwomen also asked what the challenges were with adopting these new power technologies and Simon Moore explained that financing was a challenge since the companies involved in these new industries are too small to attract the big institutional investors but he said eventually the financing issues will be solved by the marketplace because of all the big automakers and the like announcing new battery fueled cars and later will discover that securing the necessary materials to produce the batteries will be a challenge due to lack of supply. My take - one of these big car companies or battery manufacturers is going to lock up Alabama Graphite soon. Why wouldn't they? They would be crazy not to given how cheap the company is currently.
