Your Next Home Could Run on Batteries

Your Next Home Could Run on Batteries This was in Monday's Wall Street Journal. https://www.wsj.com/articles/your-next-home-could-run-on-batteries-1508065205 You have to be a subscriber to read full article - but the title of the article says it all. It mentions that the next "Cable cutting" may be houses cutting the cord from the electrical grid. Also says that states with very high electricity rates or unstable supply (e.g. Vermont that has to use a different electricity generation source at surge/peak times that are way more expensive then non peak times) will want to use batteries to help stabilise supply with needs.
