Yep, AC is protected from a full strike this summer.
Anyway, importance of Air Canada in the economy would force the government to stop a strike, as the Harper government threatened in 2011. A full strike is not really an option.
But what about disruptions, other  types of actions ?
I mean refusal to work overtime, strickly observance of the agreements, etc   All that could cause a lot of disturbances.
I don,t think that the union would let the wait to october,a full year after the agreement termination for react. Actions in the lower season do not have the same impact.
