Thanks

that brings it home a little more for me and my take on things.  I liked the first deal better!  It is what it is though and I can't let go of the fact that they dividended out that $300 million that Canopy lined their pockets with.  That worked out to about $3 per share that could have been in the coffers and hopefully reflected in the sharevalue.  Acreage was forged together quickly and at a premium for all the assets they picked up, which I guess, is why Canopy wanted to redo the deal.  It does seem to have everything that Canopy will need to move quickly in the US space when we get a triggering event.  Canopy didn't stop there and also have fingers in Terrascend, some think as a backup but are also moving to get branded products on shelves as we speak, so their intentions are clear.  There has been huge mention of infused beverages and I believe they are going with what they think they can launch which is CBD infused beverages which would help pave the way for THC style although I don't think they can be produced in the same factory but maybe that is just in some States.  Canopy seems to be having great success with their THC beverages in Canada even though they aren't very good.  They have increasing sales and are unable to keep them on shelves and that is with some pretty silly posession rules such that you can only buy 4 cans at a time depending on milliliters and strength of thc.

I appreciate your input on putting a dollar number on something that is unclear to me.  Somewhere the definition of Accounting principles got baztardized such that it seems to be more sleight of hand than a true representation of value.  I think accountants hung out with lawyers too much to the detriment of their true calling.  I'm old school and like black and white, straightforward , honest and clear.  Not what we got!  Whenever something gets too complicated I start to think that I'm gonna get screwed.

Here's another math problem for ya!  When you put 6 apples and 3 oranges in the juicer will it be wine for Christmas and will Aunt Jean have lipstick on?  lol
