Gold Assets Spinoff

Today, January 2, 2008 is very illlustrative of the stockmarket not paying any attention whatsoever to the fact that ADA has a number of promising gold assets. Sveral times , last year,I have suggested to management to do the following: Spin off the gold assets into a separate company on the basis of getting one share of Acadian Gold for every 5 shares of Acadian Mining owned.That would result in about 30 million shares outstanding. Then do a RIGHTS issue to capitalize ADA Gold with $10-$15 million. If the market capitalizes the 1.5 million ounces at $50 per ounce of gold resource, it is lkely that the rights issue can be done at above $1.00 per share. Let the company do a rights issue rather than a private placement. The rights issue will broaden the share holder base and in addition does away with the dilutive effects of having to attach warrants to the private placement. A rights issue is more expensive to do up front because of likely prospectus costs but prevents the stock from having a price ceiling until the warrants have been exercized as those that execize mostly sell into the market upon exercize. A private placement represents being penny wise and pound foolish. Currently ADA is a zinc stock (as considered by the stock market) and the market totally ignores the gold side. In addition there are many shareholders that originally bought ADA because it was a junior gold explorer which has now succesfully transformed itself into a zinc producer. It is likely htat the spin off will result in a higher value for both companies . Be an activist. Write the comapny htat they should do this. Maldoror
