TD Gifting ?

TD Waterhouse inserts a link to gift them my LVI stock to remove it from my account since it doesn't trade anymore because of the CTO. Is there any reason why a shouldn't go ahead with it since those big red numbers are a daily reminder that I'm probably sol with this one.
